The school Building construction completed by the M.P Housing Board December 2010. The Government of orissa sanctioned land measuring HC 4.006 in Malkangiri for a period of 99 years. The lease dead has been prepared and registered in Jan 2009.

The Vidyalaya is located in the AIR FORCE Area at Majumdar lines in the rear of Military Hospital and at a distance of 3 km from Ambala Cantt Railway station and General Bus stand. The Vidyalaya has been started in the month of NOV 1964 with a single section which has been expanded to 5 section school in the month of April 2003 with facility of Science, Commerce and Humanities streams i class XI and XII.
