The PGI-District is envisaged & developed after the triumph of PGI State with focused objective of assessing districts in six categories namely Outcomes, Effective Classroom Transaction (ECT), Infrastructure, Facilities, Student Entitlements (IF & SE), School Safety and Child Protection (SS &CP), Digital Learning (DL) and Governance Processes (GP) which are further expanded into 12 domains.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh was established in the year 2001 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, AFS, Jodhpur was established in the year 1964 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya is located in the AIR FORCE Area at Majumdar lines in the rear of Military Hospital and at a distance of 3 km from Ambala Cantt Railway station and General Bus stand. The Vidyalaya has been started in the month of NOV 1964 with a single section which has been expanded to 5 section school in the month of April 2003 with facility of Science, Commerce and Humanities streams i class XI and XII.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Singharsi, is a Defence Sector co-education school. It started in 1971. Since then it has been doing a commendable service to the defence personnel as well as the hamlets around.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Panagarh, Kolkata was established in the year 1962 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, Air Force Station, Kalaikunda, Midnapur, West Bengal was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
