Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education. Ever since its inception in 1965, it has been the endeavor of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ambikapur, Raipur was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, No 1, Binnaguri was started in the year 1973 in Binnaguri Cantonment. Since then it has crossed many milestones and touched the pinnacles of success. The Vidyalaya has Classes from I to XII with Science and Humanity Streams. The Vidyalaya has maintained high academic standards in AISSE & AISSCE Examination.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kalaikunda was established in the year 1967 primarily to cater to the need of education for the children of defence persons. The Vidyalaya is situated at a distance of 16 kms from Kharagpur railway station. At present 1700 students are studying from classes I to XII. The scheme of pre-primary education has been taken up from the session 2002-2003.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 INF Lines, Jamnagar was opened in the year 1983. The school is working under Defence Sector (Army, Infantry). The Vidyalaya is running in the Army Infantry Lines Campus, The Vidyalaya building was built by MES in the shape of H of the main building.

Kendriya Vidyalaya DRDO - Project School Sponsored By DRDO, Bengaluru, was established in the year 1978 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ahmednagar No.3 (VRDE) was established in the year 1992 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
