Kendriya Vidyalaya Godda, Jharkhand was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, has been a pioneer and pace setter in the field of school education since its establishment in 1964. In-service Education and Training of staff is an integral part of the organisation right from its inception.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Gangavathi, Bangalore was established in the year 1965 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
