The Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kankinara has completed 25 years. The Vidyalaya is run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Education. It came into being in 1982, starting its day from the Military Barrack and a makeshift building.
