Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education is running nearly 1229 Kendriya Vidyalayas all over the country to provide qualitative education from Class I to Class XII for the wards of the Central Government Employees and other population. For the administrative convenience, it has been divided into 25 regions.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Rajampet, Hyderabad was established in the year 2015 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The government has approved a new scheme named SHRESHTA (Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas) for the purpose of providing seats for the meritorious SC boys and girls in the best private residential schools in the country. Every year, it is expected that about (3000) students would be selected for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 under the scheme.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dirang, West Kameng District is located in a very beautiful valley of Meyong river, 42 Kms. Away from Bomdila, District headquarters of West Kameng District, on the way to Tawang and 1.5 Kms. from the main Dirang town ship. Kendriya Vidyalaya Dirang was established in the year 2007 and became functional on 04 July 2007 in temporary building. Now our K.V Shifted in Permanent Building.

Kendriya Vidyalaya NTPC Farakka, Kolkata was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF, Pokhran was established in the year 2003 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Simdega, Jharkhand was established in the year 2007 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
