KVS Tinsukia Regional Office was inaugurated on 9th April 2012 as a result of reorganization of KVs into 07 additional regional offices for improved functioning. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan now has 25 Regional offices monitoring Kendriya Vidyalayas in India.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mehsana made a beautiful beginning in the year 1980 with classes 1 to 10 with two sections each and one section science stream and one section commerce stream in Class XI and XII. It caters to the all round development of the students besides providing quality education.

As a part of the Malaviya Mission 111 institutions have been identified. These centres will be called as Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centres (MMTTC). Kendriya Vidyalaya , Dhenkanal established in the year 1994 is the unique institute of its kind affiliated to CBSE ,New Delhi and has been catering to the needs of children belonging to transferable Central Govt. Employees, Defence Employees as well as the floating population of the district since its inception.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya NTPC No.2 Korba was founded on 03/08/1979 in the premises of National Thermal Power Corporation Plant in Jamnipali locality of Korba in Chhattisgarh state of India.
