Kendriya Vidyalaya Namrup, Assam was established in the year 1982 in a permanent structure which is fully completed in 1985 in a sprawling campus of 14 acres near Namrup College in the sector E of BVFCL Colony Namrup, under the patronage of then HFC (now BVFCL).

Kendriya Vidyalaya Nehu, Shillong was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Solapur, Mumbai was established in the year 1988 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Range Hills Estate, Kirkee Pune was established in year 1983. The new building was inaugurated by Miss. Lizzie Jacob I.A.S. commissioner of KVS on 15 Jan 1994. It is situated near Khadki Railway station.
