Kendriya Vidyalaya, No 1, Binnaguri was started in the year 1973 in Binnaguri Cantonment. Since then it has crossed many milestones and touched the pinnacles of success. Kendriya Vidyalaya Namrup, Assam was established in the year 1982 in a permanent structure which is fully completed in 1985 in a sprawling campus of 14 acres near Namrup College in the sector E of BVFCL Colony Namrup, under the patronage of then HFC (now BVFCL).

Kendriya Vidayalaya Shahdol started in the year 1993 in the building of Law College Shahdol. Vidyalaya shifted in the Permanent Building which is situated in Kalyanpur Shahdol, In the year 2000. Presently 925 Students are enrolled in Vidyalaya and Vidyalaya is having Science and Commerce stream.
