The Kendriya Vidyalaya at the Air Force Station, Salua is one of the Vidyalayas of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan set up by the MInistry of Education. It is a defence sector institution which was established in 1986, primarily to cater the educational needs of the children of the defence personnel's as well as the floating population of the area.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Jamuna Colliery, Jabalpur was established in the year 1985 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
