Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh was established in the year 1993 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The PGI-District is envisaged & developed after the triumph of PGI State with focused objective of assessing districts in six categories namely Outcomes, Effective Classroom Transaction (ECT), Infrastructure, Facilities, Student Entitlements (IF & SE), School Safety and Child Protection (SS &CP), Digital Learning (DL) and Governance Processes (GP) which are further expanded into 12 domains.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous body functioning under the Ministry of Education. Since its inception in 1965, the Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) have come to be known as centres of excellence in the field of school education promoting national integration and a sense of INDIANNESS among the children while ensuring their total personality development and academic excellence.

This Vidyalaya started functioning in the academic year 1984 at Air Force Station Suryalanka Bapatla. The Vidyalaya aims at all round personality development of the students. This Vidyalaya has got good infrastructural facility with well equipped laboratories and Departments helping in imparting quality education.

Ministry of Education has launched a National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat), for ensuring that every child in the country necessarily attains foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) by the end of Grade 3, by 2026-27.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tehran is an Indian co-educational international school in the Baharestan District, Tehran, Iran. Affiliated with the Embassy of India, it serves grade levels LKG (3 years and up) through XII (16 years).
