Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force Station, established in 1966 is one among the oldest and the biggest Vidyalayas in the North East region has been a trendsetter and a prestigious institution catering the needs of education as per the policy of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Established in the year 2005. It was established initially to provide education to the wards of defense employees and other Employees of Central Govt. Established as Primary School (Classes I to V) Later on the classes are upgraded.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kalaikunda was established in the year 1967 primarily to cater to the need of education for the children of defence persons. The Vidyalaya is situated at a distance of 16 kms from Kharagpur railway station. At present 1700 students are studying from classes I to XII. The scheme of pre-primary education has been taken up from the session 2002-2003.

It was established in the year 1980 in defence sector. This Vidyalaya has well developed (TYPE A) School building constructed over 15 acres of land. All the facilities has been planned meticulously to, suit the diverse needs of students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bolarum was started in 1980 with Col. G.S. Kapoor as the first chairman of the Vidyalaya and Mr. Jones Deva Prasad as its first Principal. The Vidyalaya was initially housed in the impermanent Cavalry Barracks of Bison canteen near Naga Deva Temple. In this place now the famous Army Dental College can be found.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ahmednagar No.3 (VRDE) was established in the year 1992 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Fort William, Kolkata was established in 1965 and imparts education from class I to XII. The school is having 4 sections from class I to X. The Senior Secondary section of Vidyalaya is also having 4 sections - two sections of Science, one section of Commerce and one of Humanities.
