Kendriya Vidyalaya Vijayapura, Karnataka was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees, including defence personnel liable to frequent transfers was first approved in November, 1962.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kalimpong was established in 1985. The Vidyalaya was set up with aim to serve the purpose of catering quality education to the children of the mountaineers region.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Rajkot was established in 1965. It is a citizen school school under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi. Spread over 10 acres of land, it is a three-volume school upto twelfth grade. There is both science and commerce stream in the school. Kendriya Vidyalaya CME, Pune was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 Rewa is located Near Stadium, Indira Nagar Rewa (M.P.). In this Vidyalaya senior secondary level science stream is available. Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2 Rewa was opened in 2004 in the civil sector.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Maharajganj, Siwan, Bihar was established in the year 2012 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
