Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Devlali, Mumbai was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bolarum was started in 1980 with Col. G.S. Kapoor as the first chairman of the Vidyalaya and Mr. Jones Deva Prasad as its first Principal. The Vidyalaya was initially housed in the impermanent Cavalry Barracks of Bison canteen near Naga Deva Temple. In this place now the famous Army Dental College can be found.

The Vidyalaya provides opportunities for all round development of the students by giving them ample of opportunities to participate in a variety of activities along with Academics. The Vidyalaya participates in Games, Sports and other activities organized locally and also at Inter Kendriya Vidyalaya level by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mirzapur, Varanasi was established in the year 2019 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarlai, Barmer was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees, including defence personnel liable to frequent transfers was first approved in November, 1962.
