Kendriya Vidyalaya Bagafa, Silchar was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jharsuguda came into existence in salubrious environs in the year of 1987 to provide an opportunity through quality education. A co-educational school with unity in diversity is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ranaghat, Kolkata was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees, including defence personnel liable to frequent transfers was first approved in November, 1962.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya is sponsored by the Proof and Experimental Establishment in short PXE way back in 1972 to fulfill the aspiration of the defence employees by imparting uniform and quality education and to persue the studies of their wards on account of frequent transfer across the country .

Kendriya Vidyalaya Chitrakoot, Varanasi was established in 2011 on the initiative of the State Government to fulfill the educational needs of the children of Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh state.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhimpur, Kheri was established in the year 2008 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
