Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathua was started in April 2003 at Kathua, J&K. Since its inception, it has steadily progressed to reach a recognizable position among the Kendriya Vidyalaya's of the Jammu region. Since its inception in 2003 in the civil sector, the school caters to the educational requirements of students from class I to class 10.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Morar Cantt, Gwalior was established as one of the offshoots of Bhopal Region in July 1980 with 500 students and a few staff members in temporary building.
