Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, A.F.S, Hindan opened in 1970 is one of the institutes run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Education. The Vidyalaya's building and its sprawling 15 acres of green tranquility provide an atmosphere for growth of excellence, both quantitative and qualitative, in all its streams of Science, commerce and Humanities for its 2421 students and 81 members of teaching and non teaching staff.
