Kendriya Vidyalaya Aayer, Varanasi was established in the year 2019 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees, including defence personnel liable to frequent transfers was first approved in November, 1962.

The government has approved a new scheme named SHRESHTA (Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas) for the purpose of providing seats for the meritorious SC boys and girls in the best private residential schools in the country. Every year, it is expected that about (3000) students would be selected for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 under the scheme.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dirang, West Kameng District is located in a very beautiful valley of Meyong river, 42 Kms. Away from Bomdila, District headquarters of West Kameng District, on the way to Tawang and 1.5 Kms. from the main Dirang town ship. Kendriya Vidyalaya Dirang was established in the year 2007 and became functional on 04 July 2007 in temporary building. Now our K.V Shifted in Permanent Building.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bolpur, Kolkata was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya has maintained high academic standards. Commerce stream started during 2009-10. The KV provides opportunities to its students to participate in a variety of activities.
