Kendriya Vidyalaya, Patan came into existence in salubrious environs in the month of June 2017 to provide an opportunity through quality education. A co-educational school with unity in diversity is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Kendriya Vidyalaya Hakimpet, Secunderabad was established in the year 1983 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
