Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Mangaluru is situated amidst idyllic surroundings in Panambur in the heart of New Mangaluru Port Trust Colony on NH 17 about 13 Kms from Mangaluru. in the District of Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. Ours is a Civil sector Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya traces its origin on 4th July 1966 and its growth as a full-fledged Vidyalaya to 1969. It was upgraded to a model Kendriya Vidyalaya in 1999.
