Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur, Kathua was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat is an attached office of Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), Ministry of Defence.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanker was established on 1st April 2007 as a Civil Sector School. The school functions with one section from class I to XII (Science and Humanities stream) with a strength of 530 students and 19 staff.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Shahjahanpur Cantt was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Guntakal, Andhra Pradesh was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya is located in the AIR FORCE Area at Majumdar lines in the rear of Military Hospital and at a distance of 3 km from Ambala Cantt Railway station and General Bus stand. The Vidyalaya has been started in the month of NOV 1964 with a single section which has been expanded to 5 section school in the month of April 2003 with facility of Science, Commerce and Humanities streams i class XI and XII.
