Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya Steel Plant, Visakhapatnam was established in the year 1983 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Malappuram was established in 1986 under the able guidance of the founder Principal Sri N V Namboodirpad under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sarni established in the year of 1976 since then thousands and thousands of students have scattered in the world taking the torch of education from this Vidyalaya. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sarni is a school running under Project of WCL & MPPGCL. The school is a two section Vidyalaya from class I to XII, for classes XI & XII the school provides the streams of Science (Bio / Maths / Computer Science).

The VIdyalaya is situated in the valley of Nubra River in Diskit which is a subdivision and a tehsil in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Ldumra means "the valley of flowers"

The scheme envisages award of one lakh fresh scholarships every year to selected students of class IX and their continuation/renewal in classes X to XII for study in a State Government, Government-aided and Local body schools under the scheme.
