Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Salt Lake, Kolkata was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Anupgarh lies in Sri Ganganagar district,Rajasthan. Established in 1986 Vidyalaya shifted to its newly constructed building in 2008. This is a single section school, at present the Vidyalaya provides education upto 12th standard. At Senior Secondary Level Science and Commerce streams are available.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Devlali, Mumbai was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Kishanganj, Bihar was established in the year 1994 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya STC BSF Churachandpur, Lamka was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Rajahmundry was established in the year 1991 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

As a part of the Malaviya Mission 111 institutions have been identified. These centres will be called as Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centres (MMTTC). Furthermore, the scheme is being designed to implement some of the recommendations and aims of the policy, which suggests some key changes to the current higher education system to revamp and reenergize it and thereby deliver high-quality higher education, with equity and inclusion.
