Kendriya Vidyalaya Ordanance factory Dum Dum is one of the premier and leading acadimics institutions of Kolkata. Established on 9th july, 1986, the Vidyalaya is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Education with an endeavour to facilitate the children of the employees of Ordanance Factory Dum Dum, Defence Personnel and other Central Government offices.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mirzapur, Varanasi was established in the year 2019 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees, including defence personnel liable to frequent transfers was first approved in November, 1962.

As a part of the Malaviya Mission 111 institutions have been identified. These centres will be called as Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centres (MMTTC). Furthermore, the scheme is being designed to implement some of the recommendations and aims of the policy, which suggests some key changes to the current higher education system to revamp and reenergize it and thereby deliver high-quality higher education, with equity and inclusion.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Barkuhi, Jabalpur was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Rajeev Gandhi Novodaya Vidyalaya Rudraprayag is a co-educational boarding school affilliated to CBSE New Delhi established in 2009. The aim of establishing this school is to give equal educational opportunities for the students of poor and deprived sect of society.
