Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Raipur was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Jakhoohills, Shimla was established in the year 1964 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, AFS Suratgarh was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Department of School Education and Literacy is implementing an Umbrella Scheme for Providing Quality Education to Madrasas/Minorities (SPEMM) which comprises of two schemes namely Scheme for Providing Quality Education in Madrasas (SPQEM) and Infrastructure Development of Minority Institutes (IDMI). The scheme is being implemented at the national level.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Patratu was established in the year 1981 for enhancing and providing education to the student. It got started in the year 1986 and is being nurtured as a Model Vidyalaya by KVS since the year 2000.
