The PGI-District is envisaged & developed after the triumph of PGI State with focused objective of assessing districts in six categories namely Outcomes, Effective Classroom Transaction (ECT), Infrastructure, Facilities, Student Entitlements (IF & SE), School Safety and Child Protection (SS &CP), Digital Learning (DL) and Governance Processes (GP) which are further expanded into 12 domains.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Janjgir, Raipur was established in the year 2014 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Bagdogra, Kolkata was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Situated in a sprawling green environs of Uppal - Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Uppal is a two section school with a beautiful ambience. It is a project school of Survey of India catering to the needs of other Central govenment Institutes like CCMB, IICT, etc. It has well experienced faculty and well equipped labs , it can boast of a big playground which is rare in the center of the city.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Lohardaga, Ranchi was established in the year 2017 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Singtam, Kolkata was established in the year 2000 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya OCF came into existence in 1985 in the Defence sector with Ordnance Clothing Factory Avadi as the sponsoring agency. The Vidyalaya has a building with an imposing structure inaugurated in October 1995.
