Kendriya Vidyalaya, (Hindi for Central School) is a system of Central government schools for children of employees of India's central government. The system came into being in 1965 and has been affiliated to CBSE since then. Initially called Central School, it was started mainly to cater to the children of people in the defence services who were often posted to remote places.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Chhatarpur, Jabalpur was established in the year 1993 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Singharsi, is a Defence Sector co-education school. It started in 1971. Since then it has been doing a commendable service to the defence personnel as well as the hamlets around.

It was established in the year 1980 in defence sector. This Vidyalaya has well developed (TYPE A) School building constructed over 15 acres of land. All the facilities has been planned meticulously to, suit the diverse needs of students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Panagarh, Kolkata was established in the year 1962 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya CRPF Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
