Kendriya Vidyalaya Hasimara came into existence in 1971 to provide an opportunity through quality education. It is a Senior Secondary co-education school with approx 1 100 students and 37 qualified and experienced staff .

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya Ordnance Factory, Varangaon was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
