Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Mumbai came into existence in 1970. It is located inside I.I.T Campus, Powai, Mumbai. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Mumbai is one of the 25 Regional Offices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Patratu was established in the year 1981 for enhancing and providing education to the student. It has its own pucca grand building having spacious classrooms, big library of good books, well equipped computer labs, a leveled playground surrounded by high boundary walls from all sides to provide a safe and suitable environment for all round development of child's personality.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is a well knit organizational set-up which is marching forward with a mission. There are nearly 895 schools divided in 18 regions.
