Kendriya Vidyalaya Katihar, Patna was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 JRC, Bareilly was established in the year 1992 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, AFS Suratgarh was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The government has approved a new scheme named SHRESHTA (Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas) for the purpose of providing seats for the meritorious SC boys and girls in the best private residential schools in the country. Every year, it is expected that about (3000) students would be selected for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 under the scheme.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dirang, West Kameng District is located in a very beautiful valley of Meyong river, 42 Kms. Away from Bomdila, District headquarters of West Kameng District, on the way to Tawang and 1.5 Kms. from the main Dirang town ship. Kendriya Vidyalaya Dirang was established in the year 2007 and became functional on 04 July 2007 in temporary building. Now our K.V Shifted in Permanent Building.
