Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force Station Sirsa, is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, one of the major institute of education of the city is situated in Sirsa. Established in the year 1982 is spread over 12 acres of vast land. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to C.B.S.E.

Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, now known as "Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University", has been accredited "deemed University" status by UGC in the year 1987. Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya No. 1 Dhanbad, Jharkhand was established in the year 1973 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education. All classes were housed in the old DVS Building of East Central Railway which are now placed in New Building located in Binod Nagar, Near Hirapur, Dhanbad.
