Kendriya Vidyalaya Burdwan was established in the year 1994 by the sincere efforts of the M.P Shri Sudhir Roy at the C.C.C Complex Alamganj, temporarily. The Vidyalaya has been shifted to its own building at Kamal Sayer (Goda) from July 2004.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dholpur, Rajasthan was established in the year 2017 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
