Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous body functioning under the Ministry of Education. Since its inception in 1965, the Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) have come to be known as centres of excellence in the field of school education promoting national integration and a sense of INDIANNESS among the children while ensuring their total personality development and academic excellence.

National Awards to Teachers was instituted in 1958. The purpose of the scheme is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who through their commitment have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.

The Vidyalaya campus has ample space of recreation, rest and fresh air. An ideal place for purposeful academic pursuits and mental growth. State-of-the-art classrooms Class rooms are redesigned to the demands of the changing paradigms and innovations in educational practices and precepts. There are 38 class rooms for students of classes 1 to 12.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force Station Sirsa, is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, one of the major institute of education of the city is situated in Sirsa. Established in the year 1982 is spread over 12 acres of vast land.

Started in the year 1995 as a single section civil sector school sponsored by the Odisha. Began with only Primary classes from I to V in a Temporary accommodation of NAC Guest house building. Now from 2004 Vidyalaya is functioning in the permanent campus at Gandhi Marg Angul.

This Vidyalaya started functioning in the academic year 1984 at Air Force Station Suryalanka Bapatla. The Vidyalaya aims at all round personality development of the students. This Vidyalaya has got good infrastructural facility with well equipped laboratories and Departments helping in imparting quality education.
