Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Ahmednagar was established in the year 1985 with the view to provide higher education for the escape of the defense personnel. The schools established in the defense sector meet the children of defense and especially the paramilitary personnel and in general the need of education of temporary population, along with those of other departments of Central and State Governments.

Kendriya Vidyalaya IIIT Jhalwa is situated in the campus of Indian institute of information technology Jhalwa Allahabad. It was stablished on 2003 as civil sector Vidyalaya. Director of IIIT Allahabad is chairman of the Vidyalaya. It is situated at the distance of 12 K.M from Allahabad Railway Station.

The Vidyalaya was established in December 1986 with primary classes. Over the years, the school progressed and is providing education up to XIIth class. K.V.Bhanala falls under civil sector under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Kangra at Dharamshala.
