Kendriya Vidyalaya New Bongaigaon is a pioneer educational institution located at this lush-green North Eastern region of India. The vidyalaya came into existence in 1987 as a small school with a student strength of 147, but with the passage of time , under the leadership of able administrators as well as staffs, it established itself as a most sought after school in the area, catering the needs of 1500+ students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Vijayawada was established in the year 1988 under civil sector, sponsored by South Central Railway, Secunderabad for the Railway Wagon Work Shop, located 2 Kms from our school and 14 Kms from Vijayawada city.

The School Which Was Located Initially At Perumanoor In The Shipyard Campus Admitted Students In Standards VI To IX.
