Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, Air Force Station, Kalaikunda, Midnapur, West Bengal was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Longding, Arunachal Pradesh was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya came into existence in 1986 under the Ministry of Education. Initially It was started in the campus of famous Rani Shakti Temple and ran for about seven years there and then shifted to the present location-own building-in Sept.1992. It is running as civil sector school, two section school mainly to cater to the needs of wards of Military Personnel-serving or retired , a big number of which belongs to Jhunjhunu District.

The Vidyalaya was established in 1996 with primary classes. Over the years, the school progressed and is providing education up to Xth class.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Aizawl, Mizoram was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Ahmednagar was established in the year 1985 with the view to provide higher education for the escape of the defense personnel. The schools established in the defense sector meet the children of defense and especially the paramilitary personnel and in general the need of education of temporary population, along with those of other departments of Central and State Governments.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Ojhar, Nashik was established in the year 1976 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
