Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Regional Office Jaipur came in to existence in 1984. It is located in Bajaj Nagar near Police Station, Gandhi Nagar Marg, Jaipur. It is one of the 25 Regional Offices of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Kendriya Vidyalaya is a co-educational school which cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul, Manipur was established in the year 2007 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya came into existence in 1986 under the Ministry of Education. Initially It was started in the campus of famous Rani Shakti Temple and ran for about seven years there and then shifted to the present location-own building-in Sept.1992. It is running as civil sector school, two section school mainly to cater to the needs of wards of Military Personnel-serving or retired , a big number of which belongs to Jhunjhunu District.
