Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Bamrauli, Varanasi was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, A.F.S, Hindan opened in 1970 is one of the institutes run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandla has started working in 2003 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2009 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.
