Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2 Langjing, Imphal was established in the year 1983 with Shri L.P Jadav as the first Principal(Grade. II) to grace the chair . It recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee. In its 25 years of service to the nation, its strive to impart quality education from class I to XII spread in 26 sections ( 2 sections from class I to X and 3 Sections from class XI and XII) .

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ernakulam Region, newly constituted in April 2012 and one among the 25 Regions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya, Anantnag was established in the year 2003, to benefit the Civil sector of the district of Anantnag. It is administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi, an autonomous body setup in 1965, intending to impart uninterrupted education to the children of transferable Central Government Employees including Defence Personnel all over India and abroad.

The PGI-District is envisaged & developed after the triumph of PGI State with focused objective of assessing districts in six categories namely Outcomes, Effective Classroom Transaction (ECT), Infrastructure, Facilities, Student Entitlements (IF & SE), School Safety and Child Protection (SS &CP), Digital Learning (DL) and Governance Processes (GP) which are further expanded into 12 domains.
