It is housed in an attractive building in its own campus at Edat which is 4Km away from Payyanur the cultural centre of North Malabar. Moreover the Vidyalaya offers its students a peaceful congenial environment for learning, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It has classes from I to XII with three sections each up to class IX.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, NAD, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya No.4, Bhubaneswar, Odisha was established in the year 1962 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Started in the year 1995 as a single section civil sector school sponsored by the Odisha. Began with only Primary classes from I to V in a Temporary accommodation of NAC Guest house building. Now from 2004 Vidyalaya is functioning in the permanent campus at Gandhi Marg Angul.
