Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, has been a pioneer and pace setter in the field of school education since its establishment in 1964. In-service Education and Training of staff is an integral part of the organisation right from its inception.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Churu has been actively engaged in the earnest pursuit of educating the children and nurturing them into grown up proud and confident citizens of the country. Our aim is to develop those qualities in our students which would make them well behaved, cultured, confident, honest and co-operative children.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Nehu, Shillong was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kargil, Ladakh was established in the year 1988 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Region hosts a huge cluster of 70+ Kendriya Vidyalayas in which 19 Kendriya Vidyalayas are under Defence Sector, 47 under Civil Sector, 05 under Project Sector and 01 under Institute of Higher Learning.

The school was established in 1985. From its inception, the school has just one mission - to mould students to become future citizens, who are useful to themselves, to their families, to the society, to the nation and to humanity itself.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagaon, Assam, established in 1979 and presently functioning at Polytechnique College, Ratanpur near Panigaon Chariali.
