Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya Keylong, Himachal Pradesh was established in the year 2007 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, Gujarat was established in the year 1964 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The VIdyalaya is situated in the valley of Nubra River in Diskit which is a subdivision and a tehsil in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Ldumra means "the valley of flowers"

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya No.3 Amritsar, Punjab was established in the year 1985 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalayas came into existence in 1963 to provide uninterrupted education to the wards of the Central Government employees who move from one linguistic area to another.

National Awards to Teachers was instituted in 1958. The purpose of the scheme is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who through their commitment have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2 Langjing, Imphal was established in the year 1983 with Shri L.P Jadav as the first Principal(Grade. II) to grace the chair . It recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee. In its 25 years of service to the nation, its strive to impart quality education from class I to XII spread in 26 sections ( 2 sections from class I to X and 3 Sections from class XI and XII) .
