KVS Tinsukia Regional Office was inaugurated on 9th April 2012 as a result of reorganization of KVs into 07 additional regional offices for improved functioning. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan now has 25 Regional offices monitoring Kendriya Vidyalayas in India.
