Kendriya Vidyalaya, (Hindi for Central School) is a system of Central government schools for children of employees of India's central government. The system came into being in 1965 and has been affiliated to CBSE since then. Initially called Central School, it was started mainly to cater to the children of people in the defence services who were often posted to remote places.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3 Baad, Mathura was established in the year 1988 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Nausenabaugh, Gandhigram Post, Visakhapatnam was established in the year 2014 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, No.1, Air Force Station, Naliya, was established in the year 1991, with a view to impart quality education to the students in this region. Established in the defence sector, the Vidyalaya is administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ballia, Varanasi was established in the year 1992 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
