Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, FCI, Gorakhpur was established 2003 as a Civil Sector Kendriya Vidyalaya. It was established initially to impart education to wards of employees of defence and other Central Govt Employees.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Miran Sahib, Jammu was established in the year 1962 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The government has approved a new scheme named SHRESHTA (Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas) for the purpose of providing seats for the meritorious SC boys and girls in the best private residential schools in the country. Every year, it is expected that about (3000) students would be selected for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 under the scheme.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 AFS Chakeri, Kanpur was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Guntur (Affiliated number 100014) was established on August 15, 1980 in the Hindu College Campus and later the school was transferred to its permanent new building on December 8, 1991. It is located in Nalapadu, on the left side of Guntur-Narasaraopet road, 10 kilometers from the railway station Guntur and 12 km away from the APSRTC bus stand Guntur.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Hubballi, Dharwad was established in the year 1993 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
