Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhel Jagdishpur a Project sector (BHEL) school was established in August, 1984. Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Purnea, Patna was established in the year 2005 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kalaikunda was established in the year 1967 primarily to cater to the need of education for the children of defence persons. The Vidyalaya is situated at a distance of 16 kms from Kharagpur railway station. At present 1700 students are studying from classes I to XII. The scheme of pre-primary education has been taken up from the session 2002-2003.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saharsa was opened in the academic session 1996-97 under civil sector. It has the honour of being the first C.B.S.E affiliated school in the district Saharsa.
