Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Faridabad is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, one of the major institute of education of the city is situated in Faridabad. Established in the year 1977 it is spread over 4 acres of vast land.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Jammu, was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bacheli, Dantewada, Raipur was established in the year 1972 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Southern Command, Pune was established in the year 1965under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya came into existence in 1986 under the Ministry of Education. Initially It was started in the campus of famous Rani Shakti Temple and ran for about seven years there and then shifted to the present location-own building-in Sept.1992. It is running as civil sector school, two section school mainly to cater to the needs of wards of Military Personnel-serving or retired , a big number of which belongs to Jhunjhunu District.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Koraput has well equipped and well maintained science labs namely the physics, chemistry, biology which are used by senior students and mathematics and science which are used by junior students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Port Trust Kochi, one of the most prestigious educational institutions of The Queen of Arabian sea Kochi. This centre of excellence was established in 1975.
