Kendriya Vidyalaya Railway Colony, Kharagpur was established in the year 2017 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) manages all the Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) in different parts of the country. Users can get information about admission guidelines, fee structure, student and teacher details etc. Details on opening new school, annual transfer, seniority list, recruitment rules etc are provided. Information on budget and construction activities of the Sangathan is also given.

This Vidyalaya started functioning in the academic year 2017 in serene atmosphere of a small town. The Vidyalaya aims at all round personality development of the students. This Vidyalaya is accomodated in a temporary building provided by state govt. With the limited infrastructure ,we are trying our level best to impart quality education under the able Guidance of the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner KVS(HR).

Kendriya Vidyalaya AOC, Jabalpur was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT, Guwahati was established in the year 2003 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
