Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Delhi Cantt. New Delhi was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya is located in the AIR FORCE Area at Majumdar lines in the rear of Military Hospital and at a distance of 3 km from Ambala Cantt Railway station and General Bus stand. The Vidyalaya has been started in the month of NOV 1964 with a single section which has been expanded to 5 section school in the month of April 2003 with facility of Science, Commerce and Humanities streams i class XI and XII.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tinsukia was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bolarum was started in 1980 with Col. G.S. Kapoor as the first chairman of the Vidyalaya and Mr. Jones Deva Prasad as its first Principal. The Vidyalaya was initially housed in the impermanent Cavalry Barracks of Bison canteen near Naga Deva Temple. In this place now the famous Army Dental College can be found.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Durgapur was established in the year 2003 in accordance with the National Policy of Education 1986. JNVs are fully residential, co-educational schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having classes from VIth to XIIth standard. These Vidyalayas are managed by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidayalaya of Bhandara was established in the year 1972 with a noble aim of providing quality education to the children of employees of the Ordnance Factory Jawaharnagar, Bhandara and nearby areas.
