Kendriya Vidyalaya Barabanki was established in July 1996. The building of vidyalaya was A-O type. The vidyalaya was established upto class x but the permission was sanctioned to the vidyalaya to open class XI-Science in 2009-2010. The Vidyalaya got permission to start XI-Science in Year 2009-2010 Now it is running upto class xii with science stream.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, IISC, Karnataka, was established in the year 1978 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 AFS Jodhpur, Jaipur was established in the year 1983 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Teliamura was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The scheme envisages award of one lakh fresh scholarships every year to selected students of class IX and their continuation/renewal in classes X to XII for study in a State Government, Government-aided and Local body schools under the scheme.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Miao, Tinsukia was established in the year 2018 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya came into existence in 1986 under the Ministry of Education. Initially It was started in the campus of famous Rani Shakti Temple and ran for about seven years there and then shifted to the present location-own building-in Sept.1992. It is running as civil sector school, two section school mainly to cater to the needs of wards of Military Personnel-serving or retired , a big number of which belongs to Jhunjhunu District.
